Rachel
Sterling Stone is one of those rare instructors with the uncanny ability
to take a technical subject and make it understandable and enjoyable
at the same time.
A graduate
of the University of South Carolina, she quickly moved into the
computer field with a position as network administrator for a real
estate and relocation firm. Here she handled system management,
troubleshooting and software/hardware training. She then joined
Commonwealth Personnel Consultants, Inc. as systems administrator.
Her primary responsibilities were to help set up a Windows NT network
and administer a job/applicant database, and use Microsoft Office
2000 to increase office efficiency.
After
successfully completing this project, Rachel identified the need
to provide training or retraining for people entering the job market.
She launched Commonwealth Computer Training as a new division of
Commonwealth Personnel Consultants, Inc. and became Director of
Operations. She has earned certification as a Microsoft Office
Specialist Master-Instructor, the globally recognized standard
for demonstrating advanced desktop skills with Microsoft Office.
Drawing
upon years of proficiency and business experience, Rachel has a
remarkable knack for making technical concepts come to life using
real-world examples and exercises. Flexibility is her greatest asset,
and she is able to customize training for individuals or companies.
And her fun-loving attitude makes classes enjoyable and the perfect
environment for learning.
